WENDY GIFFORDS — AUTHOR & CERTIFIED DIVORCE COACH · WESTPORT, CONNECTICUTWendy Giffords is a certified divorce coach based in Westport, Connecticut. Her work with clients going through divorce grew directly from her own experience: a lengthy, high-conflict divorce that cost her far more in time, money, and emotional toll than it should have.
What she came out with — beyond hard-won personal knowledge — was a deep empathy for people in the same position, and a determination to make the fundamentals accessible to anyone who needs them.
Before turning to coaching, Wendy built a successful corporate career in strategy and operations. That background shapes how she works: she knows how to cut through complexity, identify what actually matters, and create a clear path forward — skills that translate directly to the world of divorce, where confusion and overwhelm are the default.
Wendy holds two rigorous coaching certifications. She is a Certified High Conflict Divorce Coach through the High Conflict Divorce Coach Certification Program (HCDCCP) — the first and only program of its kind, training trauma-informed coaches to guide clients through high-conflict divorce and custody cases. She also holds a Leadership and Performance Coaching Certification from Brown University School of Professional Studies, in partnership with ACT Leadership — an ICF-accredited program grounded in developmental psychology, neuroscience, and leadership effectiveness research.
Together, these credentials give her a rare dual fluency: the strategic rigor of executive coaching applied to the most high-stakes personal crisis most people will ever face. She works with clients globally and is available for coaching, speaking engagements, and workshops.

Sara Lujan Miller
SARA LUJAN MILLER — MS SCHOOL COUNSELING · PARALEGAL & CONTRIBUTING PROFESSIONALSara Lujan Miller brings a rare combination of expertise to her work, shaped by a career that has evolved across three distinct disciplines. She began as a paralegal, building a foundation in the documentation, procedures, and legal frameworks that define legal processes like divorce. She then spent over 20 years in corporate management roles, sharpening her business acumen and operational expertise.
Currently, Sara is a practicing school counselor, practicing her understanding of how people, especially children and families, navigate crisis and transition. Together, these experiences give Sara both deep human insight and precise procedural knowledge, a combination that is rare in this space. She has been Wendy's business partner and close collaborator for over 20 years, and her steadiness, insight, and technical know-how have been foundational to this project since its inception.

Ami Jayne Powers, Esq.
AMI JAYNE POWERS, ESQ. — FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY & CONTRIBUTING PROFESSIONALAmi Jayne Powers is a Connecticut family law attorney admitted to practice since 2006, focused exclusively on family law for her entire career. She is a partner at Collins & Powers, LLC in Stamford, Connecticut, where she has practiced since 2007.
Over nearly two decades, Ami Jayne has built a practice defined by rigorous advocacy and genuine client care — particularly for clients who have been marginalized or abused within a domestic relationship. She has been appointed by the Court and sharpened her trial advocacy through extensive litigation experience. Notably, she helped expand the definition of abuse within coercive control under Connecticut’s Jennifer’s Law, and litigated a seminal case on parental financial contributions to college.
She has served on the Connecticut Bar Association’s Family Law Section Covid-19 Response Council and is an active member of the Fairfield County Bar Association.
